It was excellent and I have waded through the process with, finally, success. I googled (how did we ever survive without this massive search engine) fs9 to fsx conversion and was pointed to two pages from a 2007 issue of Computer Pilot.

But it seems theres an fsx patch now? Thats great. When development started for the AFG B300, i was following it from the start, but developers didn't have any knowledge on FSX. Excellent deal for the low price of freeware. Has everything from pressurization, anti-ice/deice, fuel crossfeed, bleed air system, and so on. The systems are not as in-depth as the Aeroworx King Air, but its not far from it either, for it only lacks a few sounds, the actual autopilot (though the autopilot is fully functional), movable windshield wipers, and a few switches that control various aspects of the instrument lighting system. Comes with a cabin, virtual cockpit, and most of the switches work. You'll never look at another King Air addon again.

Goto and download their King Air 300 fs2004 package. It has turned a soft default into a useable aircraft.

Installation was straightforward into their own folder (there are other instruments if you want to update other of the defaults such as the heavy jets).Īll in all a good outcome, and I have a fast turboprop that can go in and out of the many remote Australian strips, and cover the ground fast to get to a large city aerodrome.

Good manuals come with each instrument, but I had to ask where they were located - down through simobjects to the aircraft folder- as the download did not come with a README. The new instruments in the panel the AHDI and MFD are good although they aren't as visually sharp as they might be. Now I have a much more challenging aircraft with a Honeywell GNXLS FMS, an MCU and a EHSI controller. Recently I bought Ernie Alston's Group 1 avionics (ISG), and a free cfg file came with it to incorporate the new instruments.

But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this.
